RILKE'S: "YOU DARKNESS": A POEM TO CELEBRATE WINTER SOLSTICE AND AN INVITATION TO WRITE YOUR OWN

As we celebrate Winter Solstice here in the Northern hemisphere, poetry can invite us into the realm magic and darkness. Mary Reynolds Thompson read's Rilke's Poem, "You Darkness," translated by David Whyte.

The poem is an invitation into the fecund place of darkness that Mary writes about in her books on Earth Archetypes, "Reclaiming the Wild Soul" and "A Wild Soul Woman," as being such a big part of the forest landscape.

Take a moment to savor the darkness before we move toward the light, as you are invited into this deliciously creative process.
