Join me at the very special book store, Readers’ Books, just off Sonoma Square. At 5:30 we’ll hold a reception with light food and drinks, then the book talk begins at 6:00 pm.

There is a world that has never stopped speaking to you. It speaks in the language of watershed and wind, of hawk shadow crossing a sun-warmed field, of mycelium threading the dark beneath our feet. It speaks in the older stories, the ones our bodies still remember even when our minds have forgotten. It has been calling us home for as long as we have been wandering. This symposium is a response to that call.

In this workshop series, move beyond writing about nature and into writing with it. Through guided practices of deep listening, sensory awareness, poetic inquiry, and imaginative dialogue, the living world becomes a creative partner—shaping voice, metaphor, and insight.
