If you are an eco-coach, forest bathing guide, creative, or work in the frontlines of climate action, this course will enable you to experience the many ways poetry facilitation can enhance your nature-connection practices for yourself and when working with others.
The poet William Carlos Williams famously wrote, “It is difficult / to get the news from poems / yet men die miserably every day / for lack / of what is found there.”
As we confront the challenges of climate disruption, mass extinctions, and a litany of natural disasters, nature poetry nourishes and revives us. It provides a way to weave our consciousness back into right relationship with a sentient earth and offers hope and inspiration.
We experience the full impact of poetry, when we learn how to facilitate a poem so that we and others are changed and transformed by it. By the end of this course, you will have the tools you need to feel confident in being able to craft poetry sessions that are engaging, creative, and impactful.
