As you awaken to the Five Earth Archetypes of Desert Woman, Forest Woman, Ocean and River Woman, Mountain Woman, and Grassland Woman you will see how you carry the power of these ancestral landscapes within you, and how they support and inform the rewilding of your own soul.

As you descend from the mountains, you carry with you a new vision and a powerful desire to remain true to your rewilded Self. The lush valleys of Grassland Woman wait to greet you, for it is in the lowlands that you will find the refreshment you need to nurture the new life. Grassland Woman’s arms are wide and her lap generous. Receiving her gifts, however, comes with its own set of challenges.

As Ocean and River Women we dove into the heart of our longings. Now, as the waters recede, Mountain Woman with her towering peaks and shadows rises up before us. We are being called to make our dreams a reality. It is time to speak out, stand up for, and act upon our visions, values, and all that we most care about. Mountain Woman is calling. It is time to make the ascent.

It all begins with an idea.

This short video invites you think about how you will transition from the exposing, sun-blasted terrain of Desert Woman, to the dark, mysterious realm of Forest Woman, where you will seed the dreams of your new life.

This poem is a reminder to all women of the strength we carry inside us. This is the strength that rises from the core of a woman's pain and courage. It isn't easy. It isn't heroic, in the way we normally think of heroism. It's the strength of woman defying a culture that wants to diminish her. It is the strength of woman "determined to do something others are determined not to be done." Above all, it a reminder that as women, we are stronger together.

This place has been my prayer site for over 20 years now. It used to be quite remote and hard to get to, but thanks to a new trail being made, more people pass by. And yet, it still grounds me in the Wild Soul Woman Archetypes like no other place. It is here that I pray to Desert Woman, Forest Woman, Ocean and River Woman, Mountain Woman and Grassland Woman.
