Small enough to slip like a shadowthrough the dense fence, cradling ink-filled eyes in the tiniest of skulls, she was a moment of wonder held firm in air's invisible hands and kind light of sun, wind furrowing her tawny fur and then was gone, borne away on the exhalation of my brief breath.
